The usual holiday letdown weekend did not exist this year as I was booked the Saturday & Sunday after New Years! The highlight of the weekend was a 50th birthday party at Mia Sorella located on Main Street in Manville. I had never worked this venue before and I was pleasantly surprised with the very accomodating banquet room, complete with a large dance floor , excellent in house lighting system, and great bar with flat screen TV's allowing me to keep an eye on the NFL action! I could tell right from the start that it was a great crowd that would enjoy the dancing , so I decided to go with the "non stop dance music approach". This meshed well with the group and I noticed several small cliques of patrons bobbing their shoulders and sliding their feet right from the start. Some key tracks of the afternoon:
